Receiving the opening cards
Each player and the dealer receives two cards. Both of the player's cards are dealt face up, while only one of the dealer's cards is visible.
Aiming for 21
The goal is to get a card total closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards carry their face value, an Ace can be 1 or 11, and J, Q and K are each worth 10.
Hit or Stand
Hit — choose to take another card. Stand — choose to stay with your current cards. If your total goes over 21 you "Bust" and lose.
Double Down
